Comedy director, Kristin Dehnert, is best known for her performance-driven work with celebrities, athletes, and the occasional ass, aka Bella the donkey.
Recent campaigns include BIC EZ Reach Lighter featuring Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, and Martha Stewart; ESPN/Synchrony Bank with NFL pro-turned-ESPN commentator Marcus “SWAGU” Spears; the debut broadcast TV campaign for Breeze Airways; work for ampm convenience stores, Liberty Mutual, Advil, Degree, and NJ Lottery — which won Gold at the Telly Awards — among others. Kristin was also spotlighted in SHOTS Comedy Focus, Laughing Matters.
Right out of the gate, she killed it with her Doritos Super Bowl spot, “Check Out Girl,” which she wrote and directed. The ad garnered tons of press ranging from Ad Age, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, and SHOTS, and went on to air multiple times on “CBS’s Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials.” Kristin’s narrative short films have screened across the globe in over 60 international film festivals, winning top awards such as the B.A.F.T.A. Award of Excellence at SXSW.
A native of Chicago and lover of all things Cubs, Kristin is based in Los Angeles.
